I think that the way that this is assessed and evaluated is the key. Yes, there are a number of educators unwilling to take the extra steps to make the technology in schools successful, however. Have we yet defined what "successful" looks like?

I like Carol's idea about increasing the Personal Learning of teachers, but it is also important that students begin to involve themselves in their own learning. That latter idea is what I would like someone to speak about.

There needs to be equity when it comes to access to technologies at home and at school, but there also needs to be equity when it comes to the quality of education provided to students, no matter the demographics. The quality of teachers in given areas should also be discussed. Many schools are now including EdTech courses in certification. We need to make this translate to better learning environments for all teachers.
